Mission Statement 

Roipack Design has been formed to provide efficient, effective, and appropriate pouch packaging automation to smaller manufacturers.  If your requirements are for millions, but not hundreds of millions of units per year, Roipack will provide you with the optimum solution.

Current Applications

Roipack form-fill-seal pouch machines have been installed in a variety of facilities in Southern California.  In the last few years, many millions of pouches have been commercially produced for manufacturers of food supplements, personal care products, and OTC medical testing devices.

The productivity of the machine has inspired multi-machine installations for larger companies.  In such cases, the reliability of the machines, coupled with the "mirror image" tandem design option has allowed a single operator to run two machines simultaneously.  This feature is an important option for future expansion in smaller companies, who are able to expand capacity, lower costs, and eliminate the need for re-training staff.

Background

Years of experience in the packaging industry and as an automation consultant has led to this machine design.  An observed need for equipment for small to medium sized manufacturers was not being filled.  While there are a number of large, costly, multi-channel machines available for the mass production of commodities such as ketchup and condiments, there are few options for a smaller manufacturer who wishes to have an up to date pouch package.  Often, these manufacturers will be forced to out-source the production of their packaging to a contract packager or co-packer.  In so doing, they added substantial cost, and limited manufacturing flexibility to their products.  The Roipack form-fill-seal packaging machine is designed to serve these customers, and to quickly return their investment.
